Well the whirlwind wedding has come and gone and we have amazing memories and photos to prove it :) we will post Paul Carlson's photos as soon as we get them. We will also receive a cd of the photo booth images and put those up as well. We hope you all had as much fun as we did thank you all for coming.love,love and more love The Van Weavers

Parking, trolleys and cars

A lot of people have asked about the parking situation, because the invites say to park at Cannonsburg Ski Resort. We are using the parking lot at Cannonsburg and shuttling everyone over via trolley to where the ceremony and reception will take place (a short half mile ride). For this reason, it's extremely important that you're there at 6:30 to catch the trolley - there is no room for parking at the event site.

In the evening, the trolley will be shuttling people back to their cars at Cannonsburg beginning around 10:30 and will run for a couple hours. We have also made arrangements for a few taxi vans to come late at night to transport hardcore revelers (bride and groom included) downtown to their respective homes or hotels.

Wedding wear

Please feel free to wear flats and wedges, shorts, hat, linens etc. We want people to be comfortable and dress it as well(grass=no heels;)). We will have a fun photographer and photo booth <3 www.paulcarlsonstudio.com www.snaphappybooth.com

Today is the 16th of June, so that means ONE month till the big day!!

If you have not sent your RSVP card to us yet, don't fret. The latest you can have them in to us is Friday the 24th of June. We have to give our final chair count at that point. Also you can call or text 616-550-4109 if you have misplaced the card or it becomes too late to send.

Our Save the dates are out, and our beautiful Invites are in!!!

Stefanie Gilmore is a creative and amazing person. She went above and beyond in creating our Invitations. She made sure things were perfect and that we were completely happy. She had many great ideas and suggestions. One of her referrals and resources was Dilly Dilly letter press. they use an old press from the 1800's, it added just the right amount of detail. Our first post

Hey all, thanks for checking out our blog - all things Van Weaver! Here we'll keep you posted on everything going on with our little family leading up to the wedding and beyond. So where are we right now? Well, Ann has her dress and Nick has his socks :). We've met with Kate Greening from Martha's Vineyard for catering and we're really pleased with how it's going. We had our engagement photos done this past weekend with Jill Devries - we adored her...still bummed she's booked for the wedding but we have another amazing photographer up our sleeves. We will post engagements pics soon. Check back!
